Arts & Media

In Zephyr’s Arts and Media program, we study the philosophy of beauty and how representations of beauty in the arts and media affect broader societal attitudes towards human flourishing and the good life.

“He who has been instructed thus far in the things of love, and who has learned to see the beautiful in due order and succession, when he comes toward the end will suddenly perceive a nature of wondrous beauty . . . beauty absolute, separate, simple, and everlasting.” ~Diotima, Plato’s Symposium
