Description

From early childhood, Jordan Gandhi, the daughter of a philosophy professor, gained a reputation for picking apart the arguments of her religious classmates. During her freshman year at Harvard, she continued defending atheism into the early morning hours with fellow students, but thoughtful challenges soon had her doubting her skepticism. After working through philosophical problems including the Euthyphro question and the Paradox of the Stone, she became a committed theist and underwent a religious conversion. She became editor-in-chief of The Harvard Ichthus, Harvard's journal of Christian thought, and subsequently Northeast Regional Director and Director of Content Development at the Veritas Forum. She is now pursuing a graduate degree at Fuller Theological Seminary. In this lecture, Gandhi presented the intellectual dimension of her conversion, attending in particular to the philosophical challenges she faced.
