About the Event

The Zephyr Institute’s Ethics Reading Group meets periodically throughout the quarter. We will read and discuss a range of short texts in the history of ethics, with a particular emphasis on neglected topics and thinkers. Our goal will be to read the text with an eye both to its theoretical insights and to its practical lessons. Readings will center around a different theme each quarter. For Fall 2022, we will be reading C.S. Lewis's The Abolition of Man

Led by Molly Gurdon Pinkoski, the reading group during the Fall 2022 quarter will run from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on October 5, October 12, and October 26. Drinks and dinner will be served. Copies of the text are available for pickup at Zephyr; please email Molly Gurdon Pinkoski (mpinkoski@zephyr.org) to arrange a time.

This event has been made possible by a generous grant from the Apgar Foundation.
