Come celebrate the start of the new academic year with Zephyr! We will have dinner, information about coming events, and a film screening and discussion of Akira Kurosawa's "Ikiru" (1952).

About the Event
Zephyr invites all interested Stanford affiliates to its opening reception for Academic Year 2023–4 on September 29th, 2023, 6:00pm.
Dinner will be provided from 6:00–6:45pm. All those interested are invited to drop by, meet others, catch up with friends, and hear about Zephyr’s plans for the coming year during this time. If you intend to come, please RSVP by clicking "Register" above.
At 6:45pm, those interested are invited to stay for a film screening of Akira Kurosawa’s Ikiru (1952), to be followed by discussion led by Zephyr’s Director of Academic Programming, Landon Hobbs. This is a film that powerfully expresses the urgency of those questions about the good life that are at the core of Zephyr’s mission and that we will be devoting special attention to in this year’s Undergraduate Fellowship.
