Steven Justice is Chancellor's Professor of English at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Ph.D from Princeton University in 1985 and has taught at Berkeley since 1987. He is interested in the forms of thought that shape and differentiate cultural enterprises like literature, philosophy, and religious practice, and in the forms of self-reflection built into each of them. His book Adam Usk's Secret was published by the University of Pennsylvania Press in 2015, and he is currently working on Volume 3 of the Penn Commentary on Piers Plowman.
